Anthony Saunders – Managing Director
Anthony has been in the fuel distribution industry for almost 30 years. Until 2007 he ran a long established and successful Wrexham based fuel distribution company before its sale to a FTSE quoted plc where he held several senior management positions. At the time of his resignation he held responsibility for 17 locations throughout Wales and adjacent counties.
Having seen the need for a local based distributor in North Wales, Anthony has set up Quad Fuels Ltd.
Steve has worked with Anthony Saunders since 1991. He has worked in virtually every sector of the fuel distribution industry since then. He began as a driver, progressing through to be a supervisor, router and depot manager. Steve has been responsible for all aspects of transport and operations in a fuel distribution depot.
Andrea Pitts has been in fuel distribution since 1993. Her career has taken her from the office junior in Kinmel Bay to be its manager by the age of 25. She has been tasked to help out at “problem” depots in West Yorkshire and Cumbria for 12 month periods. Since becoming part of the same organisation as her co-directors in 2009, Andrea worked as a Regional Manager, being Anthony’s deputy.
Andrea’s strengths are in sales and marketing, staff coaching, customer service and forming long term business relationships with her customers in all market sectors. Andrea has a vast knowledge of all aspects of oil industry sales including fuel additives, specialist fuels, lubricants and tanks.
Nesta Williams has worked in the fuel industry since 1994 with BP and Shell and has undertaken various roles in sales, customer service, stock control, administration and team leadership. She has built up long-standing business relationships with her customers who have followed her around the industry to Quad Fuels Ltd in January 2017.
Her priority and strength is always to provide excellent customer service and after sales care. Andrea and Anthony both started working with Nesta in her previous employment where she was always a fantastic support in their roles since 2007. Nesta has a vast knowledge of the industry including fuel additives, tanks and lubricants.
Yasmin Knox – Business Development Manager
Yasmin Knox, saying that she has nearly been with us for over 3 years but after her six month probationary ended in March 2020 she was forced into lockdown so she has been working from home most of her time at Quad Fuels until October 1st when we all returned in 2022.
Yasmin joined us the end of September 2019 after being on maternity leave having her beautiful baby girl Penelope. Her family already includes her daughter Eva and boyfriend Dan, who also has another daughter called Evie. They are a lovely family and Yas is actually niece to one of our directors Steve Forkin. It is definitely in the blood, selling oil. Yasmin worked in previous employments in the same role and industry until she joined her uncle.

Lynda McKenzie – Business Administration Manager
Lynda has been in the fuel industry for the past 35 years. She has worked with numerous companies through acquisitions and is a highly valued member of the Quad team. Lynda has a wealth of knowledge, is extremely meticulous in her role and nothing phases her in administrative role and problem solving.
Lynda is married to Carl and has one son called William who is 21.
When Lynda is not working she enjoys pottering in her garden and walking with her dog.
Sara Walters – Customer Account Manager
Sara joined the company at the beginning of Oct 2022 after the full team had returned to the office after their lengthy time away due to the pandemic. Sara lives locally in Colwyn Bay so knows the area very well and has a vast experience of customer service, operations and logistics.
Sara loves to go the gym, play tennis, and walk her dog Mitzy and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Sara looks forward to helping you out on all your fuel requirements and queries.
